UVA is having a full-scale active shooter exercise. We need volunteers. Please review the following details:
- Date: March 11th
- Time:
- Arrival Check-In: ~6-7am
- Departure: ~1:00pm
- Location: UVA Central Grounds (parking will be at Scott Stadium and then <0.5 mile walk to Maury Hall Auditorium)
- Need: Serve as actors for the University’s critical incident drill. Participants will be placed in the auditorium and/or throughout Maury to simulate students/faculty/staff during an active shooter event. Simulation of an armed assailant will be the primary scenario with medical triage. No live weapons will be within the security perimeter. No minors.
If you know anyone else willing to assist please let me know... they are looking for 30-50 participants.
